The financier acquired a smaller island - the Little St James - originally in the late 1990s, but later purchased the more expansive adjacent island in the year 2016 for approximately $22.5 million.
This visual evidence indicate he had created ambitious plans to build upon the substantial island by building homes, an open-air theater, an office beneath the waves and a reservoir.
